Ted Stricland names casino control comission.
Looks like Vanessa Whiting (Attorney), Charles Saxbe (Attorney), Maggie Ostrowski (Spokeswoman for Senate President Bill Harris), Joe Rugola (President of the AFL-CIO), William Kirkham (another Attorney), Jerry Chabler (Previously on Ohio's racing commission and lottery commission), Michael Bolte (Retired Cincinatti Police Officer), and Greta Russell (Accountant serving as controller for Ohio State University)
Some could be rejected, but as of right now it looks as if these are the picks-

On August 19th it looks like a land deal was made for the new Cleveland casino. Also a lease deal for the Higbee building. Rock Gamaing / Harrahs Entertainment agreement
Rock Gaming, LLC, and Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. have an agreement in principle to jointly develop and operate downtown casinos in both Cleveland and Cincinnati. They are also still considering the idea of a temporary casino in the former Higbee building on Cleveland's Public Square.
